Mickey's Debut
Excellent writing, directing and acting make this a far above average TV movie. David Janssen is excellent as the burnt out journalist turned novelist and his aggressive new boss, Robert Vaughn, beautifully portrays the sophisticated authority figure to this tale. Last but certainly not least--Mickey Rourke makes his debut in the key role of this story in which he delivers an excellent performance loaded with depth and charisma making it easy to see why he became a top starring actor.

David Jensen, wasn't his last performance. But, somehow, you wish it was. As, he is pretty much on his last leg at this point anyways, and playing a drunk, which wasn't much of a stretch at this point in his career.

Kenneth Bianchi and Angelo Buono Jr., who were later convicted of kidnapping, raping, torturing and murdering 10 women and girls ranging in age from 12 to 28 years old.
